Last weekend I had an assignment for one of my fashion classes to explore a designers store and on that mini field trip to Bal Harbour Shops I encountered not only the most intriguing store windows I had ever seen but one of the most spectacular scenery's throughout an outdoor mall. So why not take advantage of the scenery right? During this unplanned iPhone photography mini shoot I did I was wearing this silk one of a kind maxi cardigans that sadly you cannot find anywhere because it was handmade 30 years ago by my mom, yes I said it my very own mom! Shocking I know! I cannot explain how many times I have been stopped by people asking me where I got this masterpiece! We are now taking offers... Just kidding! (well maybe not). Under this lovely silk draping I wore this burnt red racerback ribbed knit bodycon dress from Urban Outfitters and may I say this dress is literally the most comfortable day to night dress I own.
As for the shoes I went with my fav beige Rampage strapped sandals that I got on sale at Macy's "One Day Sale" which is literally every weekend.. don't get it. The mini bucket bag is from Coach which my grandmother made while she worked many moons ago in the Coach Factory. Yes, I know our family is extremely talented. And last but not least my V-shaped Mika pendant necklace is from Rocksbox! Hope you enjoyed this post and always remember to never throw out your vintages no matter how weird it looks at the moment!
